Our Yoga Classes
What is UniTea Hatha Yoga?
Yoga means union.
Yoga is a sacred practice reminding us that we are all one and taking us deeper into our infinite self through conscious movement of the body. You will feel amazing after connecting with your breath, your body, your mind, your soul and each other.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Awareness and Happiness. You will not be the same after practicing.
Some refer to this type of yoga as an express train to enlightenment. It awakens the energy of consciousness, Practicing this type of yoga sheds light on our self-imposed limitations, removes physical and energetic blocks and invites us to develop our intuitive mind. Living from our intuitive mind is one of the main goals of a Kundalini practitioner. Kundalini Yoga is very healing for the endocrine and nervous systems. It balances the brain and strengthens the entire body from the inside and out, so we can lead a more healthy, vibrant and balanced life. Kundalini Yoga is a specific proven science. It is a 5000 year old practice that was not shared with the masses until Yogi Bhajan brought the teaching to the West in the late 1960’s. When we apply this yogic technology to our bodies and minds, it has the effect of uplifting the spirit. It is for everyone, it is universal and nondenominational.

“In Kundalini Yoga the most important thing is your experience. It goes right to your heart. No words can replace your experience. Your mind may accept the words or it may not, but your consciousness will not accept just words”.
Aquarian Sadhana is practiced by Kundalini Yoga communities across the world.
Doing sadhana in a group develops group consciousness. A group sadhana practice amplifies the impact of the meditation. Yogi Bhajan said that group meditation not only adds to individual effort, but multiplies it.

Khalsa Way Prenatal Kundalini Yoga
Khalsa Way classes are designed to help mamas and their babies develop and strengthen mentally, spiritually and physical during pregnancy, birth and the beginning of life on Earth.
When a baby is in utero everything is developing from the physical body to the emotional body which is why it is essential for a woman to feel safe and supported during this very special time. It is known that how we think, breath, eat and exist in pregnancy will have a direct effect on our unborn child.
We use yoga, meditation and education to develop inner trust and wisdom to guide a woman into conscious motherhood. Most importantly, we utilize this ancient science of yoga and meditation to optimize a woman’s time with baby in womb, to heal the past and create a new story for motherhood. It is sacred, playful and a powerful way to begin a new life as a growing family.
The Khalsa Way practice is dynamic like Kundalini Yoga but is adapted for pregnancy. The movements and postures are drawn from many lineages of yoga, but the fundamentals, meditations and chants come from the practice of Kundalini. It is a powerful and graceful practice designed for all types of women in all stages of pregnancy. It is wonderful and essential time to connect with other pregnant women to share the universal and unique experiences of becoming a mother. All classes are catered to all levels, giving each woman a chance to practice at her own pace.
“If you want to give your son or your daughter strength, the only thing you can give them is your experience as divine. They can look to you as divine—the feeling, the urge, the reality.” – Yogi Bhajan
Whether you are an expecting mother or current mother to babies, children or adults alike, please join us for a meditation to strengthen the connection between you and your child(ren). With a strong connection to their mother, your child(ren) will feel grounding and connection in this world and to the Divine that will give them wings to fly and courage to soar.
This meditation will also help to strengthen your role as a woman. Yogi Bhakan explains, “Adi Shakti Namo Namo. That’s what you are: the primal nucleus power with absolutely no deficiency; complete and perfect and positive; one who can create another human being out of her.
She can bring God on Earth, she can bring a saint, and she can bring heavens, and she can build a house with a needle which man cannot build with millions of dollars and with all his vigilance. When you are corrupt, you are terribly corrupt. When you are not, you are the most powerful individual psyche on the planet.”
