Many people feel they simply cannot meditate because they are unable to sit without a thought. And that is correct! None of us can sit for very long in thoughtlessness. Meditation in Kundalini yoga is very different and people leave feeling very successful.

Meditation is simply cleansing the mind. It is the art of breaking habits to purify the mind and take care of your daily activities. It is not about not having any thoughts. It is simply using proven tools like breath, mantra and/or awareness to observe these thoughts and break a pattern. Through practice we develop the art of cultivating the neutral mind.
